Quiet New Year

We celebrated the new year very quietly. We hardly even heard any fireworks unlike the 4th of July celebration which is normally louder and people are more excited. Dinner was early at 4 pm. Later that night Dean was calling his family back in Florida while me and the kids played Monopoly and Clue. Dick Clark's New Year Ball show was on so we all watched it while munching on left overs. When the clock struck12 ushering 2008, we all kissed each other. That's all about it. Boring, huh? Iba pa rin kasi sa Pinas, mas masaya dun ang Bagong Taon at Pasko. But we were still grateful that GOD gave us the chance to live 2007 and for all the blessings and even the trials. We all look forward to another blessed year in 2008. We hope and pray, things will be better for us.
